There is no project that exemplifies Up Property’s progressive thinking and creativity more than Morris Moor. As part of Melbourne Design Week, we hosted ‘Adaptive Reuse for Community Connection’ at Morris Moor on May 29.
Touring the precinct with the project team, we lifted the lid on Morris Moor’s remarkable transformation from the former Philip Morris factory to the thriving commercial development and bustling neighbourhood it is today—a place built on community, connection, and creativity.
Following the tour, guests joined us for a panel discussion with project and industry experts—Up Property’s own General Manager, Marcus Jankie, designer Gaston Nogues of ClarkeHopkinsClarke, Jamie Kerr of Kapitol Group and Annalisa France from Air Aroma sharing the experience as a tenant of Morris Moor.
We discussed how adaptive reuse is helping communities achieve their ESG goals, the challenges involved, and how we can better steward our valuable historic resources for the present and future.
